About Us

It all began in 2003 when a small group of women started meeting to encourage one another. By February 2006, the group expanded to include 30 other women who shared the same vision of building a community of female leaders, and this marked the beginning of J4 Leaders.

Our name is inspired by Judges 4 in the Old Testament, where we learn about Deborah, a woman who led Israel for God’s purposes. At J4 Leaders, we envision a world where Christian women leaders are connected and encourage one another to succeed with a biblical worldview; where women leaders are helping each other to overcome obstacles in order to live out our God given purposes; and where we sharpen our own leadership skills and help develop the next generation of Deborah leaders. We are committed to nurturing the next generation of Deborah leaders who will positively impact the world.

To connect, encourage, and develop Christian women leaders to discover God’s call on their lives and encourage one another to influence the world for Christ.
