Prior to her current role, Nina spent 27 years in for-profit and non-profit leadership roles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nina\u00a0leverages\u00a0her undergraduate degree in Hospitality Management and Master of Nonprofit Management from the University of Central Florida to build relationships and create strategic growth. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Public Affairs.\u00a0Nina\u2019s passion for giving back is\u00a0evident\u00a0in her deep commitment to\u00a0local nonprofits and leadership organizations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Honored with\u00a0numerous\u00a0awards, including most recently Nina was recognized as the Outstanding Alumni of the year from UCF Masters of Nonprofit Management program; MLK Jr. Outstanding Citizenship Award from the City of Longwood, The Heart of Florida United Way\u2019s Impact Maker Award, the Orlando Business Journal&#8217;s C-Suite Award Honoree for Nonprofit leaders in 2022, and most recently in February 2023, Nina is one of the five finalists for Orlando Sentinel\u2019s Central Floridian of the Year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As the President and CEO of The Sharing Center, Nina Yon is a dedicated leader who believes that success is best achieved through collaboration, community, and service.
